The worst GM is by far, Avs-GM. He offers me Galiardi for Hossa, Winnik for Knuble + 3rd. LOL.

I think I'd like to make some deals with the Bruins GM. What kind of deal is this?

Remember that trades have to benefit all teams involved. If you get what you were looking for, you have to be able to sacrifice.

If that's really what you wanted, then mission accomplished. Downie had one good season because he was on a line with Stamkos and St. Louis. Forget about Wild altogether. Wheeler is a former 5th overall pick and his "sophomore slump" was still an 18-goal, 38-point season. Jordan Caron is a year away from being a top 9 scoring winger on any team. And a first round pick? I think Downie could have been acquired for Wheeler and the pick, which may still even be overpaying a little bit.
I hope it works out for you though.

having Lucic and Downie together on one line is enough satisfaction for me, Plus i have tons of center depth that can work with downie

plus that year was his first full year, his assist and goals might of been inflatted abit but i still believe he is a top 6 player

You have the right to an opinion, and whatever you believe is fine. But you could put almost anyone on a line with Stamkos and St. Louis and he would have above average numbers. Downie is a good player, but I don't think he will be a dynamic power forward at any point in his career.

look, talent isn't just numbers. Downie can hit, fight, put up good numbers, but his main job is an agitator, sure, they might have overpayed slightly, but Downie is an awesome player

That's what was given up for him in the pick, a former 5th overall, and a former 25th overall.

Um okay? Some players never pan out. I dont like the style that blake wheeler plays cause he doesnt use his size players like him are expandable and Caron is injury prone
